In a proud and inspiring moment for Tripura’s agro and spices sector, Hon’ble Member of Parliament Smt. Kriti Devi Debbarman paid a gracious visit to the Longtharai Factory located in R.K. Nagar today. The visit brought encouragement and renewed energy to the team behind one of the state’s most promising agro-industrial ventures.
Though the Managing Director was unavailable for the occasion, the company was ably represented by Director Mr. Krishna Debnath, Senior Production Manager Mr. Joybrata Debnath, Marketing Manager of Sova Enterprise Mr. Ajit Majumder, and Manager of Sova Enterprise Mr. Shayan Saha.
During her visit, Hon’ble MP Kriti Devi Debbarman was given a comprehensive tour of the facility and engaged in meaningful discussions with the leadership team. The conversation focused on the future of Tripura’s agro-based economy, sustainable spice production, and the role of local industries in empowering farmers and creating jobs. The delegation briefed her on Longtharai’s ongoing initiatives, including modern production practices, farmer engagement programs, and quality control systems.
Smt. Debbarman expressed her appreciation for the efforts being made to strengthen Tripura’s identity in the national agro and spices market. She emphasized the importance of supporting such grassroots industries that are driving regional development while staying rooted in traditional agricultural practices.
